To better understand the role local environmental health (EH) professionals play in tick-related activities, such as the surveillance and control of ticks across the country, NACCHO conducted key informant interviews with eight local EH departments and one tribal EH department. This effort provides valuable information on the strategies, challenges, and needs related to tick surveillance and control activities present in local EH departments.
