This is a local comprehensive cancer control (CCC) coalition success story on Austin/Travis County Health Department and its efforts to address the cancer burden through cross-coalition collaboration. The coalition brought together partners and other community coalitions working toward similar goals to reduce duplication of efforts and share resources, resulting in the implementation of policy and environmental changes that led to a reduction in chronic disease risk factors.
