This success story focuses on the local comprehensive cancer control coalition efforts of Scott County Health Department. As a result of the health department's efforts, the percentage of people who quit smoking in Scott County is a higher rate than the national average. Scott County Health Department in Sikeston, MO, has approximately 20 employees. It serves a mostly rural population of 39,000 people.
