NACCHO Exchange is a quarterly publication that presents successful and effective resources, programs, tools, and public policy initiatives to help local public health professionals protect and improve the health of all people and all communities. In 2009, NACCHO’s Model Practices Program recognized 23 initiatives that demonstrated exemplary and replicable qualities in response to public health needs. The fall 2009 issue (volume 8, issue 4) highlights some of these award-winning model practices.
